The Blood Mobile is Coming to Oak Park

Stevenson Fitness, in Oak Park, will be hosting the American Red Cross Blood Mobile on Monday, January 25th from 2pm-8pm.  Start the new year off right by donating to the Red Cross.  Sign up today to help boost their supply here in our own community! Stevenson Fitness hosts this event in January and July and usually gets a turnout of 60-80 people. Every bit counts!

Appointments are now available online.  They strongly encourage you to sign up ASAP to ensure that you reserve a spot at a time that is convenient for you. 3rd Grader Organizes Book Drive for Casa Pacifica

Killian B., an Agoura Hills 3rd grader, is collecting gently used children’s books for the foster children of Casa Pacifica. You drop your books off in the collection bin outside of Stevenson Fitness in Oak Park (at the corner of Kanan and Lindero Canyon).

Her mother told me that the bin already filled up once. It will be outside the gym through this week.

If a 3rd grader can cook up this idea and actually follow through with it, don’t you think we should support her? Go, Killian!
