Now is your opportunity to bring your kids to the Canyon Club, a place that is normally populated by fans of big acts from bygone eras. (There’s nothing wrong with that, and I can tell you from experience that the bartenders pour a potent margarita for those kidless nights among grown-up music fans.) Ozomatli is playing a show there on Saturday night, but by day, the band enjoys entertaining a younger fan base.
OzoKids is the first children’s album from this popular band, and this is what they’ll be performing at 4pm on February 9 at the Canyon Club. Tickets are still available, and they’re even sold in Family Four-packs.
I love that this band is still around. My husband and I used to be groupies in the 90s, before kids, following them around to all their concerts. Once time we were the only ones watching them play in a tiny park in Pasadena. I think Wil-Dog had just had his first baby, who is surely close to adulthood now. Wish we could go on Sunday but we can’t. I hope this band keeps going for another few decades!
I love the Canyon Club. Cool!
